Active members of the Association of Administrative Professionals (“AAP”)
Active members of the Boom Group
Active members of Western Drug Distribution Centre (“WDDC”)
Full-time and part-time, active employees of the following groups (“Other Group Insurance Members”), specifically:
WestJet, an Alberta Partnership, including WestJet Encore Ltd. and WestJet Vacations Inc. (“Westjet”)
Deloitte LLP (“Deloitte”)
The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company (“Manulife”)
Workers’ Compensation Board - Alberta (“WCB”)
Syncrude Club 63 (“Syncrude”)

All contestants must be legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. Employees, directors, trustees and officers of TW Insurance Brokers Inc. and their affiliated companies 1
, (collectively for purposes of this contest, “TW”), the prize selection team and members of their respective immediate families and/or anyone with whom the employees, directors, trustees or officers of TW are domiciled, are also excluded.
Affiliated companies mean: Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan, OTIP/RAEO Insurance Brokers Inc., OTIP/RAEO Benefits Incorporated and Curo Claims Services Inc.
How to Enter – Online

.Contestants must provide their first and last name, valid email address, the name of the group which they are a member, and, must agree to either receive TW promotional emails and/or subscribe to a free subscription of the electronic TW Newsletter (delivered by email) (“mandatory information
”) by checking the appropriate box on the contest entry form before they can be automatically entered into the contest and be eligible to win the prize. Failure to complete the mandatory information means the contestant will not be entered into the contest.
A maximum of one (1) entry per contestant is allowed into the contest throughout the Contest Period. (Contest can only be entered once.) Multiple entries into this contest will not increase the contestant’s chances of winning and will be considered duplicate entries to the contest, declared void and the contestant will be disqualified from the contest rendering them ineligible for the prize.
Entries must be received on or before 11:59:59 p.m. EST before the end of the Contest Period. In disputes, online entries to the contest may be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. Authorized account holder is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
If anyone does not wish to receive marketing materials, promotional emails, electronic publications, including the TW Newsletter, product information, news, information and/or surveys by email and/or feedback emails after consenting to do so and/or after entering the contest, may unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in the email delivering that particular promotional email sent by TW or by notifying TW’s Marketing Department at 1-866-272-5688.
One (1) prize of a $500 Tango Gift Card from TW Insurance Brokers Inc. is available to be won at the end of the contest.
The prize of the $500 Tango Gift Card will be delivered to the declared winner electronically at the email address indicated on the selected entrant’s contest entry form. Gift card subject to terms and conditions imposed by supplier. Please allow ten (10) business days for delivery of the prize save and except for any unforeseen events such as, but not limited to, a weather event, postal or courier strike, flood, fire, war, break out of disease, quarantine, hydro outage, service provider problems.
Any and all taxes on the prize awarded, including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitutions will be made for the prize except at the discretion of TW who may substitute a prize of equal value in the event the contest prize is no longer available. All Internet fees, transactional fees, down-loading fees, up-loading fees, accessories, application fees (App fees), Wi-Fi costs, roaming charges, costs of programs, long distance charges, travel expenses, mileage, accommodations, meals and extraordinary expenses, including but not limited to beverages and any feature and accessory not expressly listed as part of the prize shall be the sole financial responsibility of the prize winner. None of the contestants and/or the prize winner will be eligible to seek reimbursement for the same from TW, its affiliates or representatives or any other party to this contest.
The prize shall be null and void if the declared winner does not accept their prize by June 30, 2021.
Winner Selection / Draw
One separate and random draw will be made from among all the eligible entries received during the Contest Period for the purposes of selecting one (1) potential winner. The separate and random draw will take place in Waterloo, Ontario on or about January 6, 2021 by an independent selection team.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received during the Contest Period. All decisions by the independent prize selection team and TW are final and binding on the participants in all matters relating to the contest.
To win the prize the selected contestant must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question in writing before being declared a prize winner.
The selected contestant will be notified by email using the email address entered into the contest. If the selected contestant cannot be contacted or does not respond after a minimum of three (3) attempts within seven (7) calendar days from the first attempt at contact, or if a prize notification notice is returned as undeliverable, or if the contestant incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize or fails to return a release of liability to TW within ten (10) days’ time after receiving the same, that contestant will be declared ineligible to win the prize and another contestant will be selected in the manner described above.
When a contestant is contacted as the potential winner of a prize, he or she will be asked for an email address and/or a residential address to where the skill-testing question, a declaration of compliance with contest rules, a liability and publicity release can be sent.
Post office box addresses are not acceptable as courier companies cannot deliver to box numbers. If the potential winner resides at a country address and/or a rural route address, the potential winner may be asked for their emergency-locate address or other identifiable information to assist the courier company with the delivery of the prize.
Personal information will not be shared with parties outside of this contest.
It is the sole responsibility of any contestant to notify TW’s marketing department of any changes to their contact information by calling 1-800-267-6847 or in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
or by sending a note to: TW Insurance Brokers, c/o Marketing Dept., P.O. Box 218, 125 Northfield Drive West, Waterloo, ON N2J 3Z9, if they still wish to be entered into the contest.
Entries and the prize claim are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES
BY SUBMITTING A COMPLETED ENTRY FORM TO ENTER THE CONTEST, PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS TW FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY RESULTING FROM THE CONTEST, INCLUDING THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE OR USE OF THE PRIZE, OR THE MERCHANDISE FOR WHICH IT IS REDEEMED (IF APPLICABLE). FURTHER, BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT TW HAS NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY RESULTING FROM: A) ENTRY OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST, OR B) ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PERSONALITY OR PRIVACY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR MERCHANDISE DELIVERY. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore such exclusions may not apply to you.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to TW’s use of his/her name, city and province/territory where he/she resides and group associated with by TW in a format approved by the winner, as well as any audio/video image, statements, and/or photographs in any related publicity and publication without further compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media and social media now known or hereafter devised, including, but not limited to, the Internet, Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, You Tube, Pinterest, SnapChat and in any publicity or advertising carried out by TW, unless prohibited by law. Winner hereby releases TW from any liability with respect thereto. TW reserves the right to post or publish any winner’s name, city, or province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, voice or other statements, as directed by the winner, on its website and/or on the website of TW’s affiliated companies for advertising and promotional purposes, where lawful, without further compensation to the winner, worldwide and in perpetuity.
To accept the prize, the winner agrees to sign a form of declaration confirming compliance with the contest rules and regulations and agrees to release, indemnify and forever discharge TW and its affiliated companies, directors, trustees, officers, employees, the prize selection team and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, from any and all action, proceedings, suits, liability, losses, costs, expenses (including legal fees and disbursements), damages, demands and claims of any kind, in respect of anything done by TW in the performance of their duties hereunder in connection with the contest and/or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of a prize or any part of a prize or any extension to a prize, including without limitation, but not limiting to, any loss, personal injury, death, disablement, dismemberment, property, home or auto damage, or claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy that could result from, but not limited to, the awarding or use of any prize, by signing an Agreement / Release Form as a condition to and in advance of receiving their prize in favour of TW and TW will not be liable for the use or misuse of the prize or any purchases made with the prize. TW assumes no responsibility for the participation in the contest or any liability, claims, demands, actions, loss, damage or personal injury that may be sustained by the contestants and/or the winner. The provisions of this section shall survive the termination of this contest and may be relied upon by the parties hereto at any time.
This contest is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, territorial and municipal laws and regulations, is void where prohibited by law and is governed by Canadian laws and the laws of the Province of Ontario. If any provision of these rules is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
By participating in this contest, contestants agree to be bound by these rules and regulations. Failure to comply with these contest rules and regulations may result in disqualification from the contest at any time.
TW will not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the contest including, but not limited to, the contestant’s information entered into the contest page and the contest by any person, including, but not limited to, a customer sales representative.

When contestants participate in a contest TW may keep a record of the information, response or any opinion volunteered without reference to their identity to calculate the contest results on their respective websites or in other media such as business documents or leaflets sent to members. Collection of information, including first and last names, email address and group associated with under this contest is strictly for the purposes of administering this contest and providing any materials or information requested by the contestant. TW will use personal information the contestant submits for the purposes of contacting a contestant and awarding a prize in the contest should the contestant be selected as a potential winner. By entering the contest, the contestant who wins the prize, agrees to have their name published; however, the identity of the contest winner and other personal information are never published without their written consent. If the contestant requests marketing information about TW products and services, TW may send the marketing information to the contestant’s email address, residential address or as otherwise directed by the contestant. Personal information will not be shared with outside parties.
The contestants are responsible for ensuring they read and understand any rules, regulations and terms and conditions of this contest. TW is not responsible for any failure to read and understand these rules, regulations and terms and conditions.
TW reserves the right to withdraw, terminate, suspend, cancel, amend or modify all or part of the contest, in any manner and any rule(s) of the contest, including the number of prizes awarded and/or their amount, at any time and without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever or if it determines that for any reason the contest cannot be run as originally planned, including, but not limited to, technical failure or corruption, computer virus, bugs, computer, electronic or system malfunction, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other factor(s) or cause(s) beyond TW’s control which in TW’s opinion compromises the fairness or integrity of the contest and/or affects the administration, security, or proper conduct of this contest as contemplated by these official rules. Failure to comply with TW’s terms and conditions may disqualify the selected contestant and/or winner from receiving the prize.
If, as a result of an error relating to the entry process, entry, entry count, drawing or any other aspect of the contest, there are more potential winners of the prize than contemplated in these rules, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible prize claimants to award the prize.
TW is not responsible for any entries that are lost, late, damaged, destroyed, corrupted or misdirected, incomplete, garbled, or delayed by or on any computer, online telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur in the processing transmission or receipt of entries.TW is not responsible for any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; failures or malfunctions of electronic data transmission, telephones, telephone lines or telephone systems, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this contest; the cancellation, suspension or preemption of games, injuries or timing errors, electronic or equipment failure or other communication problems occurring in connection with participation in this contest nor is it responsible for any transmission of viruses from any TW website to a computer system or if any whole entry system crashes resulting in the contest being cancelled or other problems or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise.
: TW and the prize selection team and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising, sponsoring and promotional agencies, and their directors, trustees, officers and employees expressly disclaim and shall be held free of all responsibility or liability for any loss or damage in respect to any prize howsoever caused, any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay or the neglect or default of any company or person providing any service for the contest, whether through providers negligence or otherwise, or due to cancellations, adverse weather conditions, loss of personal belongings, illness, bodily injury, accident, death, deterioration of services, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or frustration, either mental or physical due to any Acts of God, force majeure or third party wrong doing, epidemic, social or political disturbances or due to any cause whatsoever occurring during the contest and the use of the prize by the winner.
